Sr. Account Executive - Unified Communications and Cybersecurity

Role Overview: The Senior Account Executive role demands a Sales Hunter mentality, primarily focusing on generating new customer relationships within the New England market and maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships within their territory.

Key Responsibilities Include/Not Limited To:

  • Drive sales of UCAAS, Cyber Security, and Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) offerings.
  • Service existing clients while cultivating new customer relationships.
  • Achieve or surpass assigned annual quota (typically between $750k - $1M).
  • Engage in business development and demand generation activities to foster customer growth.
  • Conduct thorough research on accounts/prospects to understand their business/organization.
  • Represent Harbor Networks with professionalism and high ethical standards.
  • Foster relationships with core manufacturer representatives and multiple decision-makers within client accounts, especially at the C-suite level.
  • Effectively communicate Harbor Networks' value proposition to key stakeholders.
  • Introduce Harbor Networks' subject matter experts to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize the company’s CRM tool (ConnectWise) and prospecting tools as directed by sales management.
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts.
  • Establish a personal brand within the territory.
  • Demonstrate the ability to grow business from scratch.
  • Conduct cold calling within the assigned territory/market to uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop and sell Harbor Networks solutions.
  • Work with pre-sales teams to develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Accurately forecast business using the company's CRM tool.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attending and facilitating relevant marketing events.
  • Participate in company-facilitated trainings and business meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications and requirements for this role include:

  • 2+ years of solution-based selling experience.
  • Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts.
  • Proven success in selling technology or related projects in a territory-based assignment.
  • Understanding of key technology solutions such as Extreme Networks, Ruckus Wi-Fi Cloud voice solutions, and Cyber Security products.
  • Knowledge of UCaaS platforms and their benefits.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales Hunter role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Resilience and personal drive to succeed.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Strong communication, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Clean driving record and access to reliable transportation.

Job Summary:

This position will help uncover, prospect for, and act in a strategic manner to develop new opportunities for Harbor Networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns, SEO, and/or other sources in a timely manner
  • Within an assigned opportunity, have the availability to qualify, present, and quote a Cloud based solution
  • Meet sales quota for any assigned revenue objectives
  • Update and provide accurate information into our sales database / CRM system
  • Develop new sales opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Research prospective business opportunities to better understand their business needs, decision-making process, install time frame and competitive situation
  • Research provided CRM database and assigned accounts to uncover potential company widesales opportunities
  • Participate in development and execution of territory account plans
  • Participate in brainstorming and reporting with sales team members on funnel activity
  • Provide management weekly status reports
  • Continually strive to improve sales qualification process
  • Participate in tradeshows, conferences, and other Harbor Networks marketing events

Network Engineer - Description

The Network Engineering Role is responsible to assist with the sales, delivery, and support of our data networking product
solutions. These include wireless and wired networking, firewalls, and SD-WAN offerings. It is expected there will be
specializing within our team to achieve appropriate knowledge levels to be delivered to our clients. Our engineers should
have industry understanding as well as specialized expertise for specific data solutions.

Education/ skillset requirements:• College level degree/ certifications

Preferred Experience:

• Multiple years IT networking experience
• Understanding of VoIP technologies and how they function within a network
• Proven knowledge of switching/routing/security
• Designing, install and supporting of IT solutions including:

o Networking and Network Security
o Switching and Routing
o Wireless networking
o SD-WAN
o Microsoft Windows Servers operating system install, support and configuration
o Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
o Virtual Environments (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V)

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as a member of our growing Data Services group
• Troubleshooting and support of:

o Ethernet switching and routing
o Layer 3 devices and SD-WAN for multi-site deployments and WAN configurations
o Firewalls and VPN deployments
o VoIP converged networks
o Windows Server products & Virtual environments, as they relate to servers we provide

• Provide IT support for internal Harbor Networks equipment and users
• Leveraging network assessment and troubleshooting tools to identify issues
• Collaborate on projects and operation procedures
• Creating Visio network drawings and all documenting all network related information.
